Here the Genevian graduate doctor Kiril Nikolov and his wife Katerina, the pianist, a sister of a Plovdiv mayor, gathered the intellectual and business elite and these meetings become significant events for town development. There is not anything casual – very close to the Hotel-restaurant is the newly opened Roman Odeon, and of course, hotel's name comes naturally.
